Deosebit de onorată de prezenţa mea în paginile publicaţiei "The Asahi Shimbun", unul dintre cele mai vechi şi importante ziare din Japonia și Asia.
Especially honored to appear in "THE ASAHI SHIMBUN"
Thank you very much Mr. David McMurray for selecting and commenting on my haiku.

cherry blossom scent
"Cherry blossoms are thought to be unscented. However, the flowering cherry on Izu-Oshima, the largest of Tokyo Prefecture’s outlying islands, is praised for its showy flowers, edible fruit, medicinal leaves and powerful fragrance. It is the paternal Prunus speciosa of the beautiful “somei-yoshino” cherry tree variety that Mihaela Babusanu recalled hazily in Bacau, Romania."
THE ASAHI SHIMBUN is one of the four largest newspapers in Japan. Founded in 1879, it is also one of the oldest newspapers in Japan and Asia.
Asahi Haikuist Network is one of the most enjoyable and well written haiku pages. It brings together poets from all cultures who appreciate this art form.
